as a general rule, it is not black metal unless you have the growl...in fact i know people who get upset if you can understand the lyrics. maybe that is not the norm...it is just what i have seen in a few cases. opeth is not exactly black metal, either...he is more just progressive metal who...

I think that the simple solution is to get better banRAB that can once again unify the genre-I think that LEd Zeppelin is a great example of this, but the problem with that is that everyone took one part of their eclecticism and left the rest. Some banRAB to Dazed and Confused and made stoner...
