I took mechanical engineering at iit bhubaneswar. But i also want to learn electronics. What is that i can do so that i will be able to learn electronics all by myself, like a hobby?

I dont know anything in electronics now except maybe something about pn junction, transistor as switch, amplifier and stuff. I just wanna get a book on beginner electronics that will teach me from the basics everything, and then allow me to move to microcontroller programming and stuff later...
