    How much to replace the transmission on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500.?

    I took my car for service to the dealership. I have no Warranty on the vehicle anymore, but they told me that the transmission needs to be replaced. How much would this run me? It started with the car stalling when accelerating at 50-60 miles on the freeway. It would turn off at turns & power...
