Hi Everyone, I to also have a 2002 Intruder 1400 which had a rattle. For me the quick and easy fix was to just place Velcro on the under side of the cap. ( on the longer end) It just keeps enough pressure on it to keep it from rattling.:bluethum:

bad idea, of coarse it all depends on how you ride. it's not like the tires will suddenly deflate while in mid turn, but if you have any sort of "feel" for the handling of the bike don't do it.
