    What can I use to dye alluminum without the paint/dye coming off?

    (I'm dying soda tabs, by the way) I tried red spray paint from Michael's but it look chunky and took away the shiny metallic look from the tabs. I want to make my tabs look like the one's on Monster Energy Drinks since I can't collect those, and since I don't drink them.
