    You can't be nominated for both foreign language and best picture. I think the producers entered it foreign category because it did'nt go on General release and would'nt stand a chance. Whereas now its looking good in this category.

    Classic lines...from what film ?

    Not sure, I'm thinking it might be "Jurassic Park". It's just that the park ranger character played by Bob Peck used terms like that ("her") when referring to the dinosaurs. Like when just before the T Rex killed him he said "Clever girl". That scene is all I'm basing my guess on.
