    Taking steroids for Bell's Palsy?

    Today, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy & I was given extremely small steriod tablets and I have to take 12 a day!! But only for 7 days! I was wondering if their is any side effects that I can expect? I'm female & only 14 years oldd!!
