I have an Iphone 4s and im wondering if its possible to unlock it so that I can use it for ATT. I don't know what the current carrier of the phone is. I read that you can find out if you go to settings and look but the phone wont go past the activation screen that just has the language, country/...

So I was thinking about unlocking my Iphone 3gs. If i were to unlock my phone then buy a telus sim card and set it up would it work? I'm not worried about data either. Thanks!

My husband owes around 1,000 on back child support, we are looking at getting close to 8,000 this yr on tax return they said a week it should be in our bank account but my question is, because child support is gonna be garnished how long will that hold it up if any? Thank u so much in advance...
