Films spoiled by poor American accents

Watching Sin City the other day I thought how much better thsi would have been if Clive Owen could do an American accent, or if they'd cast an American. Tim Roth in Reservoir Dogs was even worse. Can anyone think of any more, and how come Australian actors can all do great American accents?

Who else wants more Star Wars Films?

They should fill in the period between episodes III and IV. With very much use of the brilliant and lovely Ian McDiarmid.

    Final destination

I've seen all three and I'd put them in this order: FD1 FD3 FD2 I'm watching it (even though I've got it on DVD) cos I think its clever and original cos the thing thats after them is a known force and not some guy dressed in a monster suit who can be killed. I also love the way each death is...

    Top 10 Sci Fi Films

To be honest I'm not entirely sure. I saw the trailer for it the other day and all I remember seeing on it was clips of Planet of The Apes (again) and Batman films. I'm sure there were a few more in there but it was just the usual films they tend to show anyway I think, nothing spectacular or...

Movies so bad you've walked out of the cinema.

How many movies have you seen at the cinema that are so bad you've left the cinema before the ending? I left twice, once for the film Naked Lunch ( the talking typewriter was the last straw), and another was a Sly Stallone film whose name I cant remember but there was a flooded subway in the...

Alfred Hitchcock - are his movies any good?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I must admit that I have always been into action films - Rambo, Die Hard, and the kind -- but recently I am being a bit more experimental and have started to watch films of different genres. believe it or not, I had not seen any Westerns up until this year...

Rate the Nightmare On Elm Street Series.

Never Sleep Again is a must-see, even for a casual fan. Probably the most well put together horror documentary I've ever seen.

Taking the plunge and getting Blu-ray

As I said , updates for the PS3 are "rarely" related to Bluray. In addition , 3D is not part of the original Bluray spec and in fact the PS3 is the only currently available player that can be updated for 3D. No standalones can so I doubt the gimmick will make many waves anyway
