    I have a 3.8 231 C.I. buick motor in an 82 pontiac bonneville at mid rpms there is a

    rattle could this be bad? oil pump? thats my guess as there is no oil pressure gauge. the knock isn't constant just at certain rpms then it rattles to a stop.     Want to see whats compatible for motors to install with the existing transmission if possible and if a 4.3 or 350 will go right in.
