The newer Jeeps are quieter than the older soft tops, but compared to a hard top or your average car it's still going to be loud. Take it for a test drive on the highway before you buy it if at all possible. If you can't stand the noise, don't buy the Jeep. good luck.

The proper wiring should all be there. Older models needed a new oil pressure gauge and coolant temp sensor, but a 2000 should be a direct swap. Read up on it at the link below.
