In terms of newer post-rock banRAB who exemplify the good qualitiies of the genre, Kayo Dot have to be up there with the best of them. For some reason I still haven't heard Maudlin of the Well though. Slint's music excites me a lot more than Talk Talk's though. Talk Talk are a very good band...

Black Sabbath has somthing like 27 Dio has around 22 Iron Maiden has around 24 but if you count the EP's it probably doubles. I think George Strait has 50 some.... I think I will take the Paris Hilton CD to the desert island...

I would say Jackson and His Computer Band and Mr. Oizo, both use a very cup-up style of production. Don't forget to pick up VHS Head's EP Video Club from last year. That's all I can think of right now, as I keep listening I might find similarities with other artists.
