The Hills Have Eyes 2 - Teaser Trailer

Well, as long as it is better than the original sequel, and Wes Craven had some involvement along with the director of The Hill Have Eyes remake Don't forget The Last House On The Left is being remade and seeing as you can't buy a fully uncensored version, it will be interesting to see how they...

    A Night In A Museum - Trailer

Saw this t'other day. It's a good family movie with lots of cameos and F/X for the grown ups and even a sly Brokeback Mountain gag. Deserves to do well.

THE Mars Volta always gets trashed on...

IMO Deloused in Comatorium > Amputechture > Frances The Mute I absolutely love the new album. Very well produced. I listen to it all the way through. Frances The Mute - I have to fast forward through some of the long abstract sounRAB that annoy me. but I know most of you would probably put...

    Movie game... famous quote

No, there was another film that they did. Much better than the dire Flash. The film I'm quoting was ruined by two or three dreadful sequels but the original film is great IMO... With a brilliant performance by Clancy Brown (another clue for you!). Donny Darko! I love the scene where he...

The D.S. Indiana Jones movie story.........

George Lucas has alreadly underplayed expectation by saying: He knows internet reaction to the Star Wars prequels was muted at best and hostile at worst so he's preparing for the Indiana Jones backlash. I'm not sure casting Shia Labeouf as the main suppporting character was such a good...

UK Release Date For Star Wars - A New Hope

And, I may be wrong about this, but "A New Hope" didn't appear on any of the posters at the time. It was not the "official" title of the film until the late 90s. It kind of annoys me to hear people use that name because for me the film is called Star Wars.

    The Oscars....

:D Ooops!!! :o :D I had to just pop on here as I cannot stand that bloke on the carpet! George *swoon* Clooney and Eric Bana were ad libbing with him and being funny and he totally ignore what they were saying and just carried on. Don't like him at all. Not a huge fan of Keira as an actress...

Just would be nice, that when people announce something like this, they put some evidence to back up what they are saying. It makes people think things are changing when they are not!!

    Portrayal of women in Westerns

I think it's understandable that most people are concentrating on the 50s and 60s as that was when westerns were at their peak and being churned out a lot. It's no different to people mostly focusing on MGM if the question was about musicals. You're absolutely right about the homemaker being...

Lord of the Rings- The Most Overated Movie ever??

I think the book is just so good and with so much detail in what really is an epic. The film needed 10 hours to get the majority of the story across and it needed to be put across on such a grand scale to mke it 'realistic'. I think they did a brilliant job of the film(s) but if I didn't already...

    Knowing

The similarly themed The Fountain is thought provoking. Knowing is just meretricious trash firmly aimed at the prejudices of the US Bible belt.

    Casino Royale, Just Not Bond

I would agree . However, the REAL James Bond only shows up at the end.The rest of the film is Bond becoming Bond. I agree with the Judi Dench thing though. But I haven't had a chanceto watch it all yet.
