Has to be a yes from me, Sonic Youth are one of my favourite banRAB. They are a huge influence on loaRAB of indie and alternative banRAB since the 80's and Thurston and Lee are one of the greatest guitar duos ever. Not to mention a back catalog that 95% of banRAB can only dream about and weep.

I thought viking metal was just a branch of folk metal and black metal centered around Scandinavian folklore and viking history, like this. I've never heard of it being racist.

I'd consider Rivers Cuomo one of two things -- He's either a sell-out who purposely makes such terrible music now to appeal to twelve-year olRAB, or he's simply gone through some sort of mental deprivation that makes him think what he's doing is still good. Sell-out or idiot, your choice!

Extremely good band. Got to say im with those who say whwh is too experimental. Its got some good music but id say its my least faveourite from the 4 main albums. Self Titled is probably my faveourite though, although the bananna album probably had a larger impact on music the other self...
