    The Restaurant 2009

If I had my money on the line and had to open a restaurant with one of those couples I would have picked JJ and James as well. They are serious and businessnesslike and know what the public want. Chris seemed like a really lovely bloke and was pretty whizzy in the kitchen but he didn't have a...

    uTorrent Unconnectable Issue...No Router!

Do you happen to have any traffic monitoring or shaping software running? Like CFOS or Netlimiter ? Any AV with antispyware? I had a similar problem sometime ago and it was due to some sidebar gadget. or post a hijackthis log here. It should make it easier to spot.

    tracker checking sites and progs

This thread seems to be ancient, but here goes my recent experience with open tracker checkers, hope you find it useful. http://www.trackerchecker.org - good number of entries, but lacks any filtering whatsoever, which makes it practically useless. Unless you are looking for a specific tracker...

    Nzbzone troubles?

I was on the NZBZone forums a few days ago, and one of the admins of the site stated that they are in no way worried about the MPAA, as if it comes to legal action they will just search for over-seas hosting, and rid themselves of the problem.

Best Deaths In A HORROR film

Love that death. Also agree with the poster who mentions David Warner's death in The Omen. In the Omen 2 there are a few lovely deaths including death by eye-peckage/getting hit by a truck, a young boy being dragged under ice on a lake (shudder), and a doctor getting cut in half by elevator...

Pointless- New quiz show on BBC2 (merged)

I won the jackpot yesterday! Well I would have done if I'd been there. For some reason, an awful long time ago, I learned the countries that lie along the equator and never forgot. Surprised they had a category where there were so few posibilities though, usually there are lots of pointless...

    George and mildred

If you have Sky, you can see Take a Letter Mr Jones on the Film 24 channel - is it Sky 157? It's on a few times each week, man - what a title sequence!!! Compared to today's titles, it's an epic!!! The show's ropey, cory and dated...but you have to laugh at john Inman!

    Downton Abbey - ITV1

I enjoyed that 1st episodes are always difficult as they try to introduce so many characters but I thought they managed to give them all a glimpse of their roles (glad Bates stayed too)

    Ultimate Guide To Folding@home

I assume the windows client is optimized for Intel CPUs by default, and therefor Intel-based rigs don't need many switches. Running Folding@Home has shown that AMD CPUs are awsome performers, but they need to be cared for, like any race-horse  Folders on AMD CPUs have to find out...
