What were the negative reviewers expecting? Some grainy black and white subtitled art house film? It was a good representation of the books and I really enjoyed it. Experience slightly spoiled by the screaming tweenies who, as others have said, laughed hysterically at the weirdest things...

As usual FX arent being exactly forward with their info as the date still isnt up on their website, and if anyone remembers for series 7 they had a countdown clock showing how long to the next new series, which is absent from the site this time. Perhaps they arent sure about dates yet?.

The previous series was disappointing and full of predictable gags. The knitted characters were never funny and "Fiiiight!" has just turned into an annoying gimmick. I wouldn't usually entertain the idea of watching ITV these days but I'll give the new series a watch. If it's full of knitted...
