    Catherine Cookson

Have read all her books but as she died a few years ago they're not on t.v anymore, apart from repeat channels. They did all follow a similar format - poor badly - done - to girl getting her just rewarRAB in the end, and nearly all set in the 19th C. When she did try to write ones set in the...

One, two, Freddy's coming back for you....

I just read that the budget for this is only $27 million so it'll definitely make a profit and there'll be sequels. That's the key with horror films. Make them cheap and the money will be rolling in like the Saw films so even if it only makes $50 million worldwide it'll still be deemed a success.

    Pineapple Express - any good?

Like all Judd Apatow/Seth Rogen style films of recent years, it isn't anything near a cinematic masterpiece, but should have you laughing throughout..

Is there a worse actor than Orlando Bloom?

No - bless, have to stick with Orlando here! I think Jude Law's good, I LOVE enemy at the gates! Also, LOVE Paul Bettany...and as for Michael Caine, well he might not be everyone's cup of tea but he's had one hell of a career!

    Snakes on a Plane

When I read about it on IMDB new,s i thought it was all hype and I still think it is but, it has the potential to be a cult movie, if they don't take themselves too seriously.

Post here if you love the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy!

It's just a bit ironic, because Lucas did the "Episode V" thing for The Empire Strikes Back as a bit of a joke, to give it the feel of the kind of adventure TV show he used to watch where he'd only ever come in half-way through a serial. But then he went all anal and decided that because A New...

    Time for an Exorcist remake?

Arrrgggg yeah talk about totally unnecessary additions to the film. The original is still the only version worth watching. I really see no point in a remake, can't see where you could take the film unless they do a scene for scene remake jobby like Van Sant's horrible Physco remake. The...

    Transformers is Fantastic!!!!!

They did the usual with a film of this budget and skimped on the cast. A few stars would of made it much more enjoyable.

    Knightmare On Elm Street Remake

Same with the upcoming Hellraiser remake and the Weinsteins behind it. A potentially great movie owned by people without a clue.

Strata 3D CX for the MAC OsX

Software that asks for serial numbers and original disks are probably protected by copyright. By attempting to install the software, you are trusting that the person who made the file is not a scammer, a virus carrier, an employee of the company who made the original software, (flooding the...

    Blood Diamond

I think this is the reason why it failed to find an audience. With action films you are there to enjoy the spectacle, the last minute escapes, the chases and explosions but it is difficult to enjoy a film which also shows such human rights abuses. While watching it I remember thinking it was...

Most emotional ending to a film you've seen?

Me too. Lots of other bits in that film make me cry too... like when she comes home and finRAB all the huge photos of the kiRAB in her bedroom. And when the two women are talking in the restaurant about the kiRAB
