I'm painting a feature wall in my room a deep red but it's goin over lime green, i have only one coat on at min so i take it when i get the second coat on all the lines an patches with disappear?!?! cause rite now it's a mess, dark in places light in places etc...?!

i'm looking for a easy recipe (as always!!)lol but some recipes are saying sugar, others sayin caster sugar, some saying don't blend eggs other sayin blend before mixing etc etc etc...! any suggestions as to where i'd get a good reliable one that works!? thanks
