It's got a good cast but I agree, if they haven't changed it that much what's the point? Mind you if you're a Shakespeare purist and you like Hamlet, you'd expect each version you watch to be very similar in order to get enjoyment from it. Not that I'm comparing The Omen to Shakespeare mind...

What's the attraction? Isn't the acting wooden most of the time in old Hollywood movies? I've tried to get into some of the classics and they've bored me to tears. Twelve Angry Men and Citizen Kane are great, though.
