    Questions about antibiotics/amoxicillin? Can any doctors or RNs help me out?

    I've got a cold-turned-bacterial sinus infection with elevated temp/very low grade fever and was prescribed 2000/mg of amoxicillin a day for ten days; two 500mg capsules in the morning and two 500mg capsules 8-12 hours later. I assume this dosage is to knock out this month-old sinus infection...
