How to replace a front hub assembly on my 95 corolla

I have an 84 Chevy impala 5.0 and when I get in it first thing it will take off fine and hit shift points correctly,after maybe five minutes of driving,nothing,no fourth or reverse.If I let it sit for a while it moves again.Do you have any idea whats wrong.
