I thought it was a decent film, though extremely disturbing IMO, I have such a low tolerance for abuse. Good acting in it, it is a long time since I've seen it, I'm not sure I'd want to watch it again.
Kane is a work of genius IMO and a very engrossing film, as is Cassablanca. Gangs of New York was also an excellent film IMO. Lost In Translation was great. And how can ANYONE not like Rear Window????? I loved Sideways as well.

It has been trailed endlessly on ITV2 (I realise this is not a big deal as Fearne Cotton is also endlessly trailed on ITV2) but the fact that they also advertised it on ITV1 made me think that ITV are proud of this, so I watched it.

Saw it today, and I really enjoyed it. Fair enough, the plot is long and convoluted, but unlike other summer films it doesn't really spell out peoples motives (Sometimes they are a passing mention.
