Weezer: Maladroit was a good album. Also, Weezer has evolved and I am glad they aren't trying to recapture the style of writing they had on The Blue Album or Pinkerton. Only complaint is 95% of the guitar solos on the Green Album are just the main melody line played on guitar (boring).

I am definitely going to pick up this album after reading what you thought, and watching that video :thurab: I get more and more into Tom every time I hear a new song. I love the jazzy/club feel to that video too.

I couldn't agree more, this was the biggest disappointment of the decade for me. Aside from DOOM, Kidcrash's "Snacks"/new material really didn't impress me at all. I hated it. Same goes for Loma Prieta's "Dark Mountain" EP.

I think Zooropa's a fairly decent album (Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car's a really good song), but otherwise I fall into line when it comes to hating these guys.

yet i know people that would live and die by all those albums. i was talking in a general sense...there are banRAB where it can be generally agreed by all their fans that they should have ended after a certain nuraber of albums.

Maybe I should write to all offending banRAB personally and request copies of their lyrics for my perusal.

That isn't actually true. Album sales across the board have been rising for the past five years, consistently. The only place where album sales are down is for bubblegum pop banRAB and talent contest/pop idol winner rubbish. Hence why HMV share prices doubled last year.
