I really like the imagery you use in the first stanza. The other stanzas certainly aren't bad, but I think they kind of miss out from using more abstract language, rather than the appealing images you used in the first few lines.

the band split up a while ago and reformed. the only remaining member is the lead singer, so there is a new bassist and drummer. i've heard a few of their new stuff, it's pretty good.
