    Plasma TV question: why do things look sped up?

    It's a Panasonic 50" Viera - very sharp picture so no complaints there but ....... The actors walking look like they are moving too quickly and the look of the movies seems to be like TV rather than cinema style, kinda like Sopranos or ER. Ideas please?
