I just got this Blu Ray player in the mail. And it makes a constant high pitched buzzing sound while playing DVDs. Is it supposed to do that?

cuz I've never been in one, only been beat up by a bully. But to be fair, he was in 12th grade and I was in 9th, so it's not like I could do something bout it. Now I'm 21, and my friends and I were talking, and I couldn't remember an instance I fought except with my siblings, which doesn't count.
