    Sure, but each networks only hand a few at a time. The Spectacular Spider-Man I'd say is a serial cartoon in that each episode plot does carry over into the next. Infact Season 1 for instance has 4 story arcs each about 3 to 4 episodes. The end of the story arcs will set up the next story...
