I have a Palm Treo 700w. I can only send text messages (Or, SMS messages) up to 160 charichters. Is there any program for my Windows Mobile 5 based phone that can break up my longer messages into multiple messages?

I got it in the mail today from ebay and tried to activate it. It told me that I need a data plan. So I havn't set it up yet and I'm wondering how to avoid the 45$ plan. All the other posts said I didnt need one so I got it. HELP PLZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERIZON not sprint.
