    Who will win?

The economy crashing like it has, royally screwed McCain. Right or wrong, I think the majority of the American population is blaming the Republicans for the troubles we are currently having. They don't care who made the policies that allowed the sub prime mortgage companies run rampant, and...

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N86 8MP

I'm not referring to the .swf file of the clock. I mean the nokia power saver clock and date display. The n82 has it... It moves from one part of the screen to another every 60 seconds when the phone is in standby.

5 reasons why droid does: real advantages of jumping off the iPhone train

goldsaint Whow. Well said! You know, other then, um, making phone calls and letting the user know if he/she missed a call, sms, mms or email without having to actually turn on the screen, I guess the iPhone does it all! I guess all the other cell phone manufacturers can go home. Game over.

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia E71

Wow...this thing is an RF monster! I took it to Carlsbad NM, to the caverns and had signal most of the way and while I was up in the mountains...standing next to my aunt and uncle who had a Treo 680 and a RAZR...with no signal whatsoever! I can say...I'm rather disappointed with the GPS and...

    *OFFICIAL THREAD: Nokia N97

Agreed. If it had S60 or even Android, it would still be in my rotation. On a side note, I actually preferred the resolution on the Fuze over the X1a. It's funny, but my X1a reminds me of my Vaio P.

Why is Jeff Lenburg's Encyclopedia of Animated Cartoons so terrible?

I had this book at one point. Ye gads, the amount of misinformation was amazing. I don't have it anymore, but among the mistakes I remember: The Aardvark in "Ant & Aardvark" was listed as being purple (he's actually blue) Ralph Bakshi was listed as a director on all 17 "James Hound" shorts...

    Channel 4's 100 Great Cartoons

Oh, come on. It couldn't have been that bad. Besides, at least someone has done a countdown highlighting the best Animation has had to offer. Frankly, I'm still wondering what's keeping the US from doing a cartoon countdown.

Do some teenagers pretend that they dont watch animation?

IDK. You see kids with cartoon backpacks and they're in HIGH school. Some have shirts supporting a show, others might go "oh i love that show". My senior year(just last year) in high school, I made it my own style to wear basically a different Cartoon or otherwise "vintage" shirt every day. I'd...

Have there ever been cartoons in the villain's POV?

Didn't Hanna-Barbera's Wacky Races focus primarily on Dick Dastardly and Muttley? I don't think most people even remember the "heroes" on that show.

    Opinions on Happy Tree Friends

I like it, but I'm the kinda masochistic 80's survivor who enjoys cuddly animals getting slaughtered randomly. And of course there's no continuity at all so you don't feel bad in the end.

Looney Tunes vs. Batman TAS vs. The Simpsons

BTAS is usually considered the defining action cartoon, and often makes the top 3 of the greatest animated series ever, alongside Looney Tunes and Simpsons.
