i just bought a HTC touch diamond 1 online and i was wondering if you can use it (including internet) in the UK considering i purchased it from the US? please help me because i payed a shedload for the phone and i will be very angry if it doesnt work in the UK thank you

i had an iphone for 2 years and it was great but now it broke and i want a change obviously still a smartphone but a bit more reasonable priced i am 13 and i have about £120/$184 any recommendations? THANKS
