    Flash player not recognized?

    I want to view a video on MTV or YouTube. In the video area it says "Download the latest Flash Player". I have done the download several times, but the video window continues to say "Download the latest Flash Player". I have Javascript enabled and I have restarted the computer. Any suggestions?
