    52p + 2x - 1444 = 0 52p - 14x -728 = 0 I substituted and solved for x (1444 - 2x)/52 = (14x + 728)/52 I got x = 44.75.     Is there a correlation between education and religion?

    No, more education =/= less religion. The reason it may seam like education = less religion is because most scientists are not very religious, but in truth the fact is people who are less religious are usually drawn more to science because of personal interests.
