    Would the equation x = ay^2 + by + c represent the horizontal parabola?

    I have any question: Does anyone agree with what I think about the behavior of parabolas? I think parabolas are half of a conic section such as, circles, ovals, ellipses, etc.. . But, the problem is that parabolas continue off into Infinity unless, restrictions are imposed on the conic graph.
