I am bicycle shopping and do not understand what "3i" means when used in the title of a specific bike. I believe "3" refers to a 3-speed, but what about "3i"? Price seems to be the same and nothing in the descriptions of the bikes are different. Thanks!

I recently bought a 2004 ford 1 ton with a 6.0 diesel eng. now everyone tells me that is a bad eng. but they don't know why, they were just told that, so if so what is the problem with this eng. it has 86000 miles and seems to run great.
