Yes, it is much cheaper, as they pay (usually) Korean animators much less than they do American animators. They usually handle storyboarding. And yes, they can animate on their own, but it's much cheaper for the show if the animation is done overseas. Fuzzy Door doesn't (Family Guy). Exactly...

Two stand out. One was "Everyone Knows It's Butters" from South Park. At first it was cute, but then got hilariously disturbing the darker the episode got. Then there was "My Black Son" from Family Guy. Another of that show's random and histerical cutaways.

I don't see how anyone could choose anyone but Butters, especially after "Butters' Very Own Episode." They tried to kill him and cover it up in that one. I thought Tweak's dad was pretty bad, too. He really seemed to care most about using the boys to promote his coffee shop agenda.
