I need to know if the f6 shared the front fender and nose with the 1/2 ton models. They look so close, but can anyone tell me for sure?

I own a 2006 Chevy 1500 with the 4.3 and 5sp, no ac. I know it was an option, so whats involved in adding it? Is the heater core different or just the housing where the condenser will go? The interior parts I can source from a junkyard most likely, and maybe the larger ac parts from a wrecked...
