    I wouldn't buy a camera with no viewfinder especially a super zoom model. In the Panasonic family I'd be looking at the Panasonic DMC-FZ35. Check Website dpreview.com, go to the left at camera database. On the cheap there's always Fuji S1500, about $200- in stores.

    What determines the amount of MB in a photo?

    Sending my brother photos via Yahoo E-Mail. It shows some are 6.1 MB, 5.3 MB, 5.6 MB, etc. Settings on camera stay the same such as megapixels, file size. What I change is aperture and focal length. On the same subject, I wanted a nice photo as an avatar but Yahoo says it's 6.1 MB, can't be...

    The Canon SX10 IS is an excellent camera. Lots of zoom yes. But you can't compare it with a DSLR. Two different leagues.
