My marquee tool is acting strange. I have it set as normal, but when I select an area and expand, it expands in a square, and once i let go it'll rearrange into the selected area. It's like stuck on a 1:1 ratio until I let go it selects the true areas I selected. Any suggestions?

I would like to get my brother (I'm 19, he's turning 18 in a week) a really good business plan book, since he's really interested in starting a streetwear brand. From experience, what would be the best book for him? Thank you in advance!
