there inside the tranny pan, the pan has to come down to get them. but if 2nd gear and is like Neutral, sorry to say, your tranny could be smoked, second gear is pretty much on its own without electronics controlling it (analog), no second gear solenoids that can go bad. i'd take it to Cottman...

could be a head gasket or intake gasket leaking out into the oil.
