I haven't hacked mine except for the camera silencer and I have a certificate and a key for signing apps, below is a link for hacking the N8. The camera silencer is in case I need to take shots of naked or lightly dressed women.

This is surprising to me. I had N8 over a week & it is rock solid, it rebooted only once when I swapped(hot) the sim. I agree with you about E71, that phone used to reboot like there is no tomorrow.
