The battery is fine, the starter works fine, the wires are clean and connected right. But the starter won't work while in the car. could it be the alternator or something else. I have no idea where to go from here

I just connected a HDMI cable from the tv to my Macbook through mini displayport to hdmi. I figured that HDMI would transfer the audio also but then I thought about it, Mini DISPLAYport. So how do i get the audio to work on my tv from the macbook pro?
