    Can the government ask a television station to air a show/commercial about a

    certain topic? Maybe a stupid question, but let's say the U.S government wanted to spread awareness on a certain subject but couldn't/didn't want to spend the money to make their own adds, could they ask a TV station like MTV or ABC to make their own special about the subject and air it?
