    Do you have to have the blackberry plan for t-mobile to use blackberry messenger?

    I have a blackberry curve 8320 and I have the unlimited data plan for t-mobile but when I try to invite Ppl on bbm, no one ever gets my invites even when my phone is on my wifi hotspot at my house
