I'm pretty sure that's what the issue with my car is - Automatic Overdrive won't work until I hit 25 in 2nd, and will only work that way if I stay over 30. If I brake fully, or to under 30, it doesn't work anymore. 3rd also doesn't work. Reverse and 1st do. Could it be anything else?
