    my ford mondeo 2002 is losing power,now the engine light has come on and stays

    that little light is a warning indicator and your car needs to go to the mechanic asap. if you dont the engine could be destroyed. it could be something very simple, eg. throttle needs adjusting or fuel filter. or it could be something serious. get it to a mechanic!
