My 2000 jeep cherokee will not turn over when cranked. What. Could it be?
Instead of banging the starter like I usually do one day I decided to just wait a minute and it cranked right up. I replaced the starter twice but since it cranked that day without having to bang on the starter I'm thinking its something else. This happens intermittently. What could it be... -

Why does my brand new starter in 00' Jeep Cherokee still needs a tap from a hammer
to start? The original starter on my jeep had to be tapped with a hammer to start. I finally replaced it with a new one on friday. The next day, everytime I started it up, (about 6 times) I had to tap with a hammer to get it to start. This morning it started ok. This starter is brand new. Why is...
