Hello, my 1999 Camaro calls for regular gas. I heard that if you have an older car/engine you should use a higher octane gas.
My car is almost 11 years old and has 104,000 miles. I drive it pretty hard. Would a higher grade of gas be alright?

Hello, why is the SRT8 close to 40,000 dollars and the Camaro SS close to 30,000 dollars. They both reach the 400 something horsepower range with tons of torque and two great engines.
Why the 10,000 dollar difference.
other than looks, the V8 SRT8 for each make about 42something horsepower with lots of torque.
but other than the fact that one is a sportier coupe and the other is a large sedan, what is the difference. Im asking b/c Im thinking about buying one next year.
