I replaced the stator cover and got it started and now its making this strange rattling noise that sounds like it's coming from the stator cover, also when I start it and try to rev it, it cuts off, idk what to do or look for... Can someone help

I got a new stator cover an replaced it and it's slowly leaking oil out the bottom, I forgot to put a sealer on it and was wondering if I took it off again if all the oil will leak out because I fill it up to the top after i replaced it
