Apple always does incremental upgrades though. The 3G was nothing more than a 3G radio, non ****** headphone jack and better gps. I wasn't expecting that much from this release I was actually surprised that the video was 30fps vga but if the ram wasn't increased there's no point in upgrading...

I'm using the TC right now, and will keep it, I text/email alot, and the TC isnt cutting it anymore, for some reason the volume of my emails has increased, and I dont knw if TouchPal's gona cut it. However, I'm not gona get rid of the TC till Diamond/E71 come out.

Only thing I can think to suggest would be one of Nokia's offerings. A simple phone with a rather advanced feature that most people even with smartphones don't need or use is going to be difficult. Maybe a Blackberry Pearl?
