    what happens when you put the positive cable on the negative side to jump start a

    vehicle? my boss has a 1989 ford econoline e-150 van. the jumper cables weren't long enough so he got a 2nd pair and connected them together. now the van has no lights, nothing. could it just b that the in-line fuse was blown? or......? pls advise
